Maggie Herrington

Magdalyn (Maggie) Ries–Herrington joined Dwyer Law office in 2025. She concentrates her practice area in Civil Litigation.

Maggie was born and raised in West Fargo, ND. She completed her undergraduate degree at Minnesota State University Mankato, and she went on to attend law school at the University of North Dakota School of Law. While in law school, Maggie worked for North Dakota’s Health and Human Services Department in the Grand Forks Regional Child Support Unit.

Following graduation, Maggie moved to Davenport, IA, where she practiced criminal and juvenile defense, family law, and civil litigation.

Having returned to her home state, Maggie enjoys spending time with family around town or at the lake, cooking, and playing a good game of cards.

Maggie is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Iowa, and the United States District Court, District of North Dakota.
